I HAVE TO PASS A URINE test FOR MY JOB...



Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it

See's fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.



What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have

to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem

with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS,

doing drugs, while I work. . .



Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Something has to change in this country -- and soon!

    When I had to take the drug test I always asked for a Mason jar, once I got started I didn't want to stop with that little jar. Had to take Drug and Alcohol test for years on my job and if they want to collect welfare they should have to test also.

    I also have to pass a random UA and wish it was required for all the freeloaders living on my dime.
    Not to say that ALL in need of public assistance are ne'er do wells, but the fact is, MANY are.
    I fear however, nothing will change until the populace takes up arms against the machine and the special interest groups.

    Worried about the doobie you smoked, on your own time?
    "THE STUFF". Check your local GNC, record store. If U go to GNC, ask for DETOXIFIER/CLENSER.Do not mention drug test.

    Give them a full load, drink lots of water, coffee, tea etc!![}:)]

    Don't feel bad. I got woken up Wednesday morning with a call I had to report to the base clinic for a random piss test.

    seems gov wants to keep them out of site most of the time they dont even have to get out to get there free pass it gets put on there little debt card while they r resting (hard work not working). if we keep giving them a check they might only come out at night and the world wont see all of them at one time.

    never done drugs ...wont take a urine test...every bum in the country citizen or no can get freebies without it...i refuse...my word is my bond..learned that from my grandad...i will not work for someone that says out front "i don't trust or respect you"

    I see several talk about what will help them pass the urine test and a word to the wise,are you willing to gamble your job. I have seen many try and lose and wonder what went wrong.

    Most techniques are minimally effective at best. Marijuana is stored in fat cells and the supplements that temporary push the THC out of your kidneys don't work very often either. You're best bet is not to smoke dope. If you do something besides marijuana then you probably have other issues.

    I would be in favor of blood testing if they are going to test at all, for employment purposes. I personally would refuse to give blood lol, but IF they want to make sure you aren't high at work, that is the only way to do it. That will tell them if you are high at that specific time. I am not a drug user, but if someone wants to smoke a joint on friday night, which will make them fail a urine test on monday morning, i don't think it is their employer's business.
    However, if people are spending their welfare check to smoke pot on friday nights, that is a different story and i support urine testing for them.

    problem with most welfare/freeloaders is that they are so screwed up, they would blow the urine machine up when it spikes on controlled substances, due to doctors perscriptions to keep them normal.[:o)]

    Urine tests are also not reliable. I have personally failed one where it showed up positive for opiates, and i can tell you i had not taken any drugs whatsoever. I had eaten a sausage egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel for breakfast.

    i don't do drugs, so i don't worry about the urine test. The problem with requiring welfare leeches to pass a urine test is, some one in the ACLU will deem it worng and take it to court for infringing on someone's right to be stoned and unable to work.

    I don't worry about legitimately failing one- i would avoid anything with poppy seeds in it in the future if i knew i was going to take one however- i worry about my employer thinking they can butt into my life outside of work when it has nothing to do with what i do at work.

    This must be urinalysis month for Gunbroker. I just had to take my 6th one since March. There's only 4 people in my Company (Commander, First Sergeant, 2 Ops NCO's--that's where I come in) and we have to do a 10% test every month. In other words, it's a 25% every month and I seem to get tagged almost every time.

    A buddy of mine is an area mananger for GNC....He said the stuff they sell makes them alot of money, but is worthless for the most part in helping to pass tests.

    About nine years ago, after I stopped drinking and drugging, I had to take one to get a job. I asked the lady who gave me the test to put a smiley face on the report. I explained to her that I would have never been able to pass one before. [:D][;)]

    I don't require my employees to take a pee test, just for the record. HOWEVER, if they are drunk/high on MY TIME, then they are GONE. The first time. No warnings, no second chances. They know it, and I've never had to get rid of a SINGLE person in 10 years. Not one.

    Screw a hair test. Anyone applying for welfare should have to take a hair test. period.

    Hey you guys got a good idea there. clean pee test=welfare check...dirty test=no welfare check........I'll bet that same idea would be good for this too..........clean pee test=ability to own/purchase firearms... dirty test=no ownership/purchase of firearms. Yep, some in our society think welfare is bad just as many in our society think firearms are bad. Even trade off don't ya think.

    Since there have been a few mentions of products intended to be added to urine to defeat drug screens- Uhhhhhh.... y'all DO realize that labs now routinely test for those additives? And a few of them, while they WILL suppress evidence of cannabis usage, may give a false or enhanced positive result for amphetamines.
