Speaking of Gretchen...
She's a four year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Border Collie mix, and I'm curious to know if any of the dog fans can explain something to me:
I have been told that both those breeds are "sight" hounds, but she is the most "nosy" dog I've ever had. She also goes into the classic "pointer" position when she sees birds. Am I misinformed?
She spends a lot of her time watching TV - barks at dogs on the set and charges at it. Are these typical behaviors ??

Anytime you mix breeds all bets are off. You might still have a great and even talented dog but odds of getting a good hound or a good herding dog are slim. 0 -
Just be glad she does not fetch lions, and give her some lovin' 0
