IS there TOO MUCH COFFEE? ,,, guess so!

A teenage waitress overdosed on caffeine after drinking 14 shots of espresso.

Jasmine Willis, 17, could hardly breathe and was taken to hospital with a high temperature and heart palpitations. She had drunk almost three times the recommended daily amount of caffeine in just four hours.

    Never had more than a tatste of coffee in my life, but do drink 4-5 mtn. dew per day. They say each can is equal to 6 cups of coffee, but never felt like near od'ing.[;)]

    It would take 105 cups of coffee to kill me.

    I doubt she drank that much.

    Just saying, she might have been feeling poorly but doubt she was in any real danger.

    I quit caffeine when my heart quit working right.

    All-in-all it has had many positive results.

    A crushed ice coffee drink with two extra shots of Happy Juice gives me quite a jump start.

    My standard is usually a 6 shot iced. Makes the Starbuckaroos' jaws drop.
    Once, on a "I can drink more espresso than you," my dad and I went up to 8 shots. No ill effects, other than way too much energy.

    I'm guessing the gal may have other things in her system..maybe some diet pills..?

    I drink very little but the better half is convinced that coffee is one of the five major food groups, with green chili and chocolate being two of the others.
