perhaps it is some experimental craft that some egghead finally got to work.
I saw footage of some kind of flying disk powered by a laser beam from the ground, although that vehicle did not stay up long at all.
Theoretically a vehicle could be made to levitate using an electromagnet and the earth's magnetic field. maybe they jsut photoshopped the big fat 240V cable running to it [:p]0 -
The marking are translated "Trans World Spacelines", and that was the 9:38 shuttle to Remulak IV. I hate spaceline food...don't you? 0 -

The first Pic does bare a striking resemblance to a Mobile Hive looking for a nice landing zone. See how it turns "Rain Forest" into Desert? Better call in the RDF![8D]

One of the pictures looks like a upside down dragonfly[?] 0 -
The first thing I noticed about the pictures is that if you pay attention to the background/foreground, the object doesn't appear to be the same size in all the photos. Thats a pretty clear indication of a photoshop job. 0 -
