4-20....I learned is a Marajuana "holiday"
I guess its a younger generation's "thing" because nobody knew what the heck 4-20 was until someone in their 20's explained it. Turns out that the perfect time to get high is 4:20 and the perfect time of year for a pot smoker is 4-20. It must be a pretty familiar thing because the radio was playing an awful lot of songs that made reference to "rolling a fat one" and being stoned.

I found out from a younger guy who is a friend of mine....who is so close he may as well be family.....who is so close he KNOWS that even though he thinks my daughter is "hot" he better stay far far away even when she DOES turn 18....because he KNOWS I will put him in a hole....because we are so close....he KNOWS....

Wife notced that as well today,some reggae thing about smokin 2 joints came on the radio.What was really cool is she had just had lasik down in Newpot[8D](Hey Kristov)and was stoned on Xanax.Has to wear these super cool"What not to wear" glasses for awhile.She came out of the operating room and I went off about being tricked into thinking she was gonna get a boob job.It's fun to make blind people laugh[:D] 0 -

My 15 year old son was talking about it yesterday at dinner. He said that the local high school had a lock down and then a search with drug dogs.
At 3pm he got off the bus, at 4pm he met his sisters getting off the bus and then went to take care of our animals.
I did not see him disappear at 4:20, so I guess my wife and I are safe for the time being.
I'll be watching my children's behaviour more closely on that date in the future.

4:20 is no longer an actual time but started out with a group of high school kids meeting at 4:20 to get high and then they used 4:20 as a code so no body would know what their plan was.
When it is 6pm at the highschool football game, instead of someone saying "Lets go get high" they would simply say "4:20" and no one knew what they were actually going to do.
That code has now became a nationaly recognized term so its a joke more then a code but still has the meaning.0 -
