Who thinks firearms should be restricted?
I personally think all gun laws are unconstitutional. I'm getting tired of hearing gunowners saying I think registration and background checks are OK.
Before you know it we will have no guns.
Criminals will have guns no matter what law is in place.[}:)]

I agree with everything you said.
Well, except your first sentence.0 -
Registration is a bad idea, but I don't really subscribe to the notion that guns should come with no limits. Every right has its attached responsibilities and just as we cannot rely upon people to use their freedom of speech in a responsible manner at all times, neither should we assume that all gun owners are saints.
That's not to say I advocate gun control, but in the real world we must assume some limitations - no one gets everything they want.
The key is to keep the fundamentals of our gun rights intact without setting ourselves up for a future fall.0 -
......The right of the people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed. 0 -
...ALL guns are evil they are! Only LEO's, military should be allowed to own the deadly little beasts. Only good for killing people and innocient wittle animals!...[^]

All personal weapons should be unrestricted. Any personal weapon either used by our military, suitable for use by our military, or used by someone else's military should be unrestricted. Any personal weapon of an inferior quality, or inferior caliber, to that used, or potentially used, by our military should be unrestricted.
Bad acts should be punished, when and if committed while using a weapon.
The intent of Amendment II is clear in its text, IF anyone cares to look and research a bit into the founding fathers thoughts and discussions into it.0 -

Thank You Jim Zumbo.0 -
it496 is correct.
By the way, I'm not sure our common mantra that criminals will have guns even if no one else does, is true.
