Harvest is underway

Harvested about 100 thousand pounds mechanically and another 25 thousand pounds by hand. Going to be a long and busy harvest. Don

    Averaged 1.87 per pound last year. Looking at about a dollar per pound this year, maybe. Don

    Dcon, that is way short compared to last yrs price. Its a shame you have to indure the expense and not the middle man. Im sure with fuel cost etc you invested as much or more than last yr. That flat out sucks that you absorb all the inflation.

    Last year we barely made a million pounds, this year I hope to make close to 3 million. The price can be off a little and still pay. Don

    Have you read some of the comments from the Atlanta based NAACP officials? There are a lot more nuts than pecans and peanuts.
