He thinks it is a part of History. I see no added value but I say buy it, then use it as a target and charge $5.00 per shot at it.

I guess the owner believes that the ties to Terry McVeigh are worth the extra $1500. The paper trail to recover this rifle is interesting, however, not woth $1500 to me personally - but you never know. Look at what some of the belongings from Anna Nicole are bringing....

tee hee. $2k would be a bargain! He's posted that the reserve is $5k.

Does that thing's history really make it collectible? Then again, people collect a lot of junk that I don't understand.

Seems he must've rethought that. Buy it now set at 2k, no reserve.

Those who forget history will have to repeat it.

McMura (sp) Federal Building in Oaklahoma City was destroyed with heavy loss of life by a fertilizer (ammonium nitrate) bomb in a Ryder truck driven and parked by McVeigh. He was also captured and executed by the Federal Government and his ashes scattered.

I wouldn't pay over used retail for the rifle.

Tim McVeigh was the bomber, Terry Nichols the guy who helped him according to the Feds.

I know perfectly well who Timothy McVeigh was and as far as I'm concerned his attitude towards our government was spot on.

I totally disagree with what he did about it.

All those pictures and not a SINGLE one of the entire rifle! Someone should send an email and see if he has a picture of the gun that he is selling instead of pictures of just a bunch of parts.
