Are you going to make it to the Lewiston show in 2 weeks? If so look me up. I'll be there with 3 tables of stuff.

    Hey Cubs,

There is no good way for me to sell seafood. Even if I gave you boat price without rebate, by the time shipping is included it would most likely be cheaper to buy locally.

I haven't touched a lobster since last Sunday and probably won't touch one again till Wednesday. We have been shut in with a constant wind. I only have 70 traps left down and desperately want them on the bank.

This is where I get my weather forecasts, it is a buoy offshore from Jonesport. http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=44027

I sell to a CO-OP of fishermen, we then sell to a company. We use Trenton Bridge primarily.

You can order fresh seafood through them and there is a slight chance I touched it but it will be a good Maine lobster nonetheless.

I have never used or heard of their mail order before so I can't really vouch for them.

    Thanks

Maybe I'll just try to sell a Bushmaster at work. Bushmaster will send me two free lobsters.

I probably hit that buoy page 10-15 times a day to check the updated weather. It also has the best forecast of any weather I have ever seen.

I wish I knew a good way to ship seafood cheaply. It basically needs overnight with ice packs, seaweed or wet newspaper. I used to help pack large orders for overnight delivery to France and Europe. I was probably 8 and in charge of placing ice packs in every box.

I'm still trying to find a good way. I had planned to get a lobster giveaway going, but the shipping would have cost me too much.

That's pretty cool that Bushmaster is giving away free lobsters.
