How did they do this?
I have a set of glasses that I bought off ebay some time ago.

They are Corona/Corona Light bottles that have had the neck cut off. How would one go about cutting the neck off. Also where it has been cut it has been rounded and buffed so there are no sharp edges.
Everyone that comes to my house wants to buy a set but noone makes them anymore. If I can easily turn 30 cents (6-pack) into 5 or 6 bucks it would be great.

When I was younger, they use to sell glass cutting kits where you could make glasses out of bottles. You then sanded the edges to round them. I do not know if you can still get them tho. Don 0 -
I googleing for the old "Ronco bottle cutting kit" that was seen in commercials years ago and found this. http://www.tracysworkshop.com/p-3591-jar-bottle-cutter.aspx 0 -
I probably still have one of the old glass cutter kits around here made just for that. If not still available, one could easily be made from the old standard cutters. 0 -
I really like the looks of the one Jacob posted. Looks well designed and rugged. The Ronco looks like it would be easy to break.
I don't know if there is enough money in cutting bottles to even offset the cost of the cutter.
Plus then there is all that beer that would have to be drunk!! [;)]0
