Who has used this stuff??????

If you have used it:

First, Are you happy with the results?

Second, which color combinations will work best on my 1911's?

I just bought a kit that has red, white, green, orange, and yellow in it and would like to know what color combinations will work the best.

    I would use green and yellow, or in keeping witt he season, red and green.

    Works pretty good.... I was given a bottle of the green,,, use it on my Browning Challenger...all the time on the front sight....
    It peels right off too!!

    Used it and like it.

    As for color combinations. That will have to be your decision. For you will have to find a combo with works best for your eye sight.

    You could use my trick.

    Cut a piece of cardboard about 1" wide and 10 to 12" long. Place dots as if the sights are lined up using different color combos. Then hold it at arms length and have a look at them.

    Yellow front and Red rear worked for me.

    I tried model paint and it just did not seem to be as visible as I was looking for.

    I use it on most of my firearms.I mix the bright sight and their glow in the dark paint. Use green on my rear sights and orange on the front.

    I've never used that stuff, but I do use automotive touchup paint. I like white rear and red front. Whatever contrasts best for you.

    I got that stuff in green Glow. It'll be kind a rubbery when it cures not like nail polish nor does it flake off. It'll peel off in one solid chunk[:D]. It'll last a wee bit longer if you clear coat it but by not much. Kind a worthless since you'll have to keep slapping more on as you peel the old stuff like a scab.

    I used it on my Beretta 84 and a HK P7 when the original white wore away. I used the YELLOW and it was an improvement in both cases. No problems, easy to apply and it seems tohold up to cleaning solvents pretty well.

    I uses the ghost glow on a charter arms undercover 38. I was not at all impressed. If you carry concealed for over a couple hours there is no glow left. Also if it's a night stand gun and you turn out the lights for a few hours again, nothing.
