first of all,....even though I don't know much about hunting a coyote, I do know that that picture is impossible. Maybe he compiled those over a period of time,..that would be possible, but for one guy to take that many yotes by himself, in one or two days,...NOPE!!
It is most likely photoshopped and could even be a very early photo dating back to when that area was undeveloped and the population of humans was much less, and HE was photoshopped in. Either way,..coyotes are indiscriminate killers and when they get a foot hold around here,....I will be glad to have new targets which provide a certain aspect of challenge and fieldcraft. My own little sniper competition[:D]
I wonder if folks who live in the inner city feel the same way about rats being fuzzy little cute creatures that deserve the chance to further spread disease[V]0 -

Coyotes are classified as furbearers. This means they've got pelts that are worth money to professional trappers and skinners.
I seriously doubt EnCon would simply do away with restrictions on hunting a furbearer, even one that also happens to be a varmint like a yote. That sounds like a great way to revisit some of the most appaling examples of senseless slaughter for profit, like in Africa (5 guys in a Jeep with AK's riddle a bull elephant with a few hundred rounds, then chop off the tusks and leave the carcass).
Unrestricted hunting on an animal with a definite dollar value is how a lot of extinct (or endangered) species got that way.0 -
There are still counties in Texas that have a bounty on them. When i was a kid, nearly every ag supported county had a bounty - $5 a tail or scalp/two ears. Had to be turned in to the county courthouse or designated coop. Many sheep counties still have bounties on coyotes, bobcats, foxes, and lions. The picture may or may not be real, but when i was working with the Animal Damage control guys on a predator control program in south Texas, the first time i went up in a helicopter on one 5000 acre ranch - in 3 hours we shot 25 coyotes and 5 bobcats - so the guy could be a govt. trapper.
Rest assured, when all else on this earth is gone, there will still be cockroaches and coyotes....0
