Gun Shows
Does anybody know if any gun shows are coming to Northwest IN.

I'm heading to a show this weekend (St. Paul armory--it's fun carrying a new purchase out, with the capital building a block away)...
All the shows in this area (at least the ones I go to) require firearm/knife related items...I can't say I've EVER seen beanie babies or jerky up here. The furthest "out there" item I've ever seen is day-glo cammies...0 -

It's a good show. I go every year. I bought my very first handgun there, actually...it's not huge, but it's nice.
There's good show coming up next month in the Mpls convention center, and (IMHO) the best show of the year in March at the State Fair coliseum.

There's also a good one the third weekend of September in Hutchinson , MN...it's less than an hour from me, I always make a point of going.0 -
I once bought a Marlin model 39A and a model 336 in 30-30 for $400 out the door, so good buys are there 0 -
Go and have a good time. Don't feel that you have to buy anything. Study up on whatever you're interested in. Be polite and treat other people like you would like to be treated. Not all dealers are no goodniks. I love gunshows and have found many good buys at them. Around here, a lot of individuals have tables to lighten their collections. If you don't get anything bought, don't be dissapointed, maybe it was just your day to learn something new.
As has been mentioned, watch what other people are carrying around to sell. Sometimes that's the buy of the day.
I'm probably going to a local show here tomorrow and I sure don't need anything.
Gunshows are good places to buy reference books that are in your area of interest and books are cheaper than guns.[:D]
