    I have known a few game wardens. It is a lonely, strenuous, tedious, and often very dangerous job. They all have my respect.

    I also know some wardens well here in TX-guys that I call friends. I just wanted everyone to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers. He left behind a wife and 4 month old baby and was killed on his 34th birthday. May Justin rest in peace.

    Lethal Injection Consists Of:

    Sodium Thiopental (lethal dose - sedates person)
    Pancuronium Bromide (muscle relaxant-collapses diaphragm and lungs)
    Potassium Chloride (stops heart beat)

    The offender is usually pronounced dead approximately 7 minutes after the lethal injection begins.

    Cost per execution for drugs used : $86.08

    I used to be pro death penalty, but not anymore. I think life without parole is a more fitting punishment. The bad guy will always be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life to make sure he doesn't get raped or shanked.

    Saw a show on death penalties vs. life sentences. Death penalty cases cost tax payers THREE TIMES as much as a life sentence, which includes housing, meals, and medical for life. The increased caused is related to all of the automatic appeals in a death penalty case.

    Some of the good ones should never be forgotten. I remember hearing about this case when I taught hunter education and was helping Fish and Wildlife in New Jersey, during deer season, checking deer. Sorry for the loss of your friend. He was so young. I hope his young son id doing well. Prayers for the son and family of Justin. Oakie

    Quite a dangerous job. I've Considered pursuing this career path, they have 35 vacancies right now statewide. Would be a paycut but an exciting change of pace. God bless his family, no pity for his killer.

    neighbor was a game warden..in on the biggest poaching bust in America...perps got off because liberal judge said deer had no value in the state of Kansas...tell that to all the trespassing "guides" that have sprung up everywhere..he retired the minute he could and plans on moving somewhere away...said he was labeled here and still had to look over his shoulder....to bad....
