Winchester Pump Rifles
After many positive responses to my very first post, I have decided to expose (!!) myself slightly by posting my own personal interests. I am very fond of, and a serious collector of Winchester pump action .22 caliber rifles, especially the model 1890. In my personal collection are many 1890's, including all (3) caliber First Models, Pistol Grip rifles, checkered stock rifles, 1/2 nickels, Swiss Buttplate, Fancy Wood, Color Case Hardening, so on & so forth. I also investigate and document all Special Order Model 90's, and maintain a database of same. I am particularly interested in the Special Stocked, Pistol Grip rifles that have "special order numbers" stamped on the left inside lower tang, and on the butt end of the stock. I have databased many of these numbers, and they are starting to drive some intuitive conclusions. anybody that could contribute to my database would be appreciated. I do not want your name, just the numbers & features on your rifle.
My interests also include all models of Winchesters, my major subcollections are Single Shots & model 70's, as well as correlating ammo.

Welcome and congrats on your neat collection(s). My family has an inherited '06 Expert and I have a Rossi copy pump in 22 WMR.
I hope with all of your expendatures on your collections that you are alotting a few funds to a pro-gun organization to help guarantee the future of collecting. At least an organization that supports pro-gun ideals like the Isaac Walton League, N. American Hunting Club, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mt. Welcome Winchester .22 lover. I can almost tell from your post that you are a gentleman, lover of fine things, knowledgeable on most subjects and a connoiseur of classic firearms. From the sounds of your Winchesters I may have to go rocks at my motley group.[:D]
Honestly, you can't just tease us with descriptions, you will have to post pictures. I love pictures, and everybodys tired of looking at mine.
