.308 bullets.
Ok, so I have a bunch of .308 brass to load but I am not having any luck finding bullets. I am looking for 147 or 150gr FMJ bullets. I can find lots of high end hunting bullets but no cheep plinking type. I know the cheep plinking type are not as cheep as they were, but I can not find anyone that has them in stock. I am looking for at least 2K.

Take up bullet casting. You will never wear out a barrel using them. 0 -

I did check there first since I have an FFL on file with them so I get dealer pricing. Everything is "out of stock no back order" [V]. Widners had some about 1.5mo ago but it is long gone [V]. I just emailed a GB seller so I will see what happens there.0 -
At present, JSC in CT has Remington 150 grain MC 308 bullets in stock; how many I do not know.
Also, try Black Hills Shooters Supply; they sell to dealers only and their email address is bhss@rapidnet.com or you can order at 1-800-289-2506.
I have had excellent results with both of these suppliers.

Nwcid,
I think it's just a case of being on the back side of the latest ordering craze and the stock is depleted. Normally, these FMJ bullets sell well but not in huge amounts. Currently, with the state of affairs around the world, it seems like everyone is stocking up with everything that they can afford to stockpile.
Call Sellier & Bellot to see if they can get a large supply in for you. I know they carry at least two different weights of FMJ's so they should be able to get it in if they don't don't have it in stock already.
