Wannemacher Saturday
Well due to my indecisiveness, I missed meeting up w/ Highball for dinner. Shame that. I did make it to the show around 11 and lasted the rest of the day.
Bought a couple things, met a Remington nylon collector who I've know for several years via e-mail board. Got to handle a couple of the holy grails in Nylon 66 collecting, the black and chrome 76.........4000.00/ea.[:0] Met the author of a Remington rimfire rifle book that I've been wanting to buy, (he signed his one and only copy that he brought to the show right in front of me and sold it to someone who beat me to it[:(]). Met Wayne La Pierre, and got his autograph. All in all not a bad day.

When is the spring show?
For my birthday present (today) the wife said we'd make arrangements to go to the next show ... actually she'll probably go visit her sister while I go to the show [8D]0 -

The problem was that I didn't know until Fri evening that I would be going Sat. Then, the deal was that the wife and 3 kids were going with me, wasn't sure that Highball was in for dinner w/ the whole gang. Didn't e-mail him till late Fri night w/ my #. Too late for him to get back with me.[:(][:(] All my fault. Sorry Bert, dinner will happen one of these days. My treat.

Talked to Matt last night. First time we could make contact..due to me not checking my e-mail one last time.
Then Saturday leaping...well..draggin' my rump out of bed early and heading for the show.
Since I was/am suffering from laryngitis..however you spell that...I cannot talk much above a whisper...may well have worked out for the best, anyway !!!
While folks may well want to 'vet' me before 'meeting the family'..I never have a problem over dining with said family..after all..I came from a family of 8 !!!
