Make sure the gun is unloaded. Pull the trigger to uncock the striler. Look at the back of the slide and you will see a round piece with a hole in the center. That is the take down button. Push in on it while pulling back slightly on the slide. Lift up on the back of the slide and ease the slide forward off the frame. Do not touch the trigger or the sear will jump out. You can pull the firing pin and spring out of the slide. That is far as you need to go for cleaning. Hope it helps. These guns are not real quality but are simple to work on and get used to doing it.0 -

Guys when a person asks for help is it too much too ask to give the help first then lay all your garbage on them. Much as you hate them the Jennings, Bryco ,Raven and now Hipoints pistols are out there and are the first guns of many new shooters. So instead of telling them they own a big piece of crap and are stupid to buy one (maybe all they could afford) encourage them too keep interested and stick around and maybe learn something. Right now all you do is run off the new people just getting started in the shooting sports. Not all people start out driving sports cars some have to learn in grandmas old compact car 0
