It opens this weekend! Got my license and trout stamp, so now I just need to prep the equipment.

Now that the weather is cooling down here, and the fresh water fishing is getting good, I had to change my image (avatar)[:D]

Good luck, fishing has been real slow around my neck of the woods.
Too much rain and cool weather...0 -

Same here. Might have to invest in another pole, broke two of them last summer[:0]. Zebco just don't seem to make them like they use to.

Kind'a been gettin' the urge to go down to the pond and catch me up a couple of them old channel cats.Got some 15-16 pounders in there that need to come out.
Son-in-law and grand kids went down there a week or so ago for about an hour and came back with 5 fish that totaled over 30 lb.

I have a couple of days this week dedicated to fly fishing for brookies. There's a small spring fed pond about an hour away that is good for a limit this time of year if I can get to it with my canoe. A stream nearby is a bit more challenging, but, it has some native fish. A friend has a little farm pond stocked with rainbows and I usually get a couple there. The fishing regulation booklet is 80 pages long this year.

Its fish season 365 days a year here in FL.[:D] 0 -
There is no season on the main game fish around here, Walleye and perch, though limits do change throughout the year on the eyes. Bass does have a season, but you can still fish for them and release out of season. 0
