Found a pistol

I forgot I had. It is an old 22lr derringer. One of the West German jobs imported in the 60s. Was going through some boxes and found it and a Remington Nylon 66 reciever in a box of stuff I hadn't opened in 10-12 years. No grips (I think that's why it got put away. What a jewell. All the steel is rusty and the finish on the aluminum is oxidized too grey. Also found a 22LR Sterling slide and odd parts.
Anyone ever find a gun the forgot about?

  Yeah.I found an sks in my cabinet that I couldn`t remember buying.Took some record searching to remember where it came from.It had me wondering for awhile if they reproduced on there own.

  When you say," Nylon 66 receiver", did you mean the black plastic thing that holds the barrel, or the shiny metal cover?

  The metal cover is the reciever it is the part with the serial number
