Dang tires
Ever since I've moved to Houston I've had a heck of a time with my tires and them rotting. You know where the tires start getting cracks on them. I'm wondering if it was because I would stuff on them to make them look nice and shiny. I know it has something to do with living down here since I have never had this problem up in Alaska or Oregon.
Anyone know how to prevent the tires from getting these cracks. Is it the stuff to make them look shiny thats causing this? I have plenty of tread and my tires aren't lasting to long and they cost me about 800 a set. I've tried everything from goodyear to Yokohamas.

The air in Houston is no where near as clean as Alaska or Oregon and all of the crap (that is a non technical term used to keep one of my fans here happy) in the air is causing your tires to crack. we have the same issue here in SoCal. 0 -
If you are using tire cleaners and dressings, be sure they are free of petroleum distillates, or oil. 0
