Speaking of boats
I realize this is a knitting forum but thought you guys might be able to help me out.
I am looking to buy a newer boat.
My current skiff is a 15' Key West Explorer, which I have owned and enjoyed for 21 years. It has been an exceptional boat and I have no complaints with it. I've used it inshore, offshore, shrimping, scuba diving, bass fishing, catfishing, camping, family trips, etc.
Due to the inevitable expansion of our family, I am looking for something in the 17' range. Also, due the above-mentioned expansion, my budget dictates a pre-owned boat.
I have it narrowed down to 3, currently.
17' Key West. Love these boats and they're made just up the road.
17' Scout. Same thing, but I've heard the ride can be rough.
17' Sea Hunt Triton. I am leaning towards this one.
Here is my current boat, which still works fine. I/we just need more room. This is a secret camping spot in the backest backwoods of South Carolina. Only myself and one other person (Fugawe) know it's location.

I would appreciate any first-hand experience from anyone who has one of these boats. Thanks in advance for your help, tips, advice, etc.
