I Quit!

Just got done clearing snow for the last 2 hours. I'm done, and I quit.

We got about 12 inches between 4 pm yesterday and 11 am today...I'm glad the Dean decided to cancel all classes today....

    Smoking that is. Last Monday was my oldest sons birthday and I figured that would be a great present for both of us! So far, so good.
    (Cold Turkey BTW).

    I can honestly say I'm ready for summer. But, no, I don't miss the sandbox. I'd much rather plow snow than deal with sand everywhere...

    I'm beginning to think that we don't have global warming at all, and all of this unexplainable, unseasonal weather we're getting is just nature changing when the seasons happen.

    that's it?? 12 inches over almost a day and they canceled classes? in nebraska, we'd have more snow than that blowing around left over from the last snowstorm and they wouldn't cancel anything.

    I forgot to mention that it's been snowing nonstop since Wednesday night. We've got about 2 feet on the ground, and more coming.

    BTW, it's been about 2 hours since I finished, and we've already got about 2 inches where I just got done clearing.

    yup i feel for you. we here in colorado havent seen any snow. but finally we got 2 ft in town 6ft in them thar hills and i want more. snowed for 3 days straight now. had more snow in the last 3 days than we've had in 3 months. throw it in the truck and haul it out here we could use the water[:o)]

    Yea I feel Ya. This is just since yesterday afternoon, and still snowing of and on. Just got in about 30 min ago from plowing since 2:30 this morming.

    try living in north dakota 12 inches every night for the last three night i have almost three feet on snow in my driveway. and now were going to be getting 30 mph winds.

    Almost forgot to mention, we've been getting rain/snow/sleet down this way for over 24 hors now, don't feel bad, it's one helluva mess[:(]
