Is his music any good?
I never cared for Waylon's music but never listened to it much.

I was just in the mood for some redneck music but don't see much out there that I care for. Big&Rich is a freak show. Looking for something comparable to Charlie Daniels, David Allen Coe, or Steve Earle.

I do like the name "Shooter" maybe I'll name my next dog "Shooter"

  I can wholeheartedly recommend the debut CD by Trent Summar and the New Row Mob. It was put out in 2000, but I still listen to it regularly. It is sort of a cross of rock and country, something you seldom hear on either rock or country radio stations.

  I see Summar released a second CD in 2006 "Horseshoes & Hand Grenades". I'll be buying that one.
  
  Regarding Shooter Jennings, I've seen him on TV a few times. Some of his stuff seems pretty good, but some is crappy.

  I picked up shooters Cd, can't think of the name of it right now but has the song 4th of july. I like it
