Pipe Smoking Again

So back then I had just bought some McClelland Oriental Cavendish, which I really enjoyed. Once I finished that I reverted back to the bulk bag of cherry cavendish that came from Walgreens about 4 years ago. I got bored with that very quick and put the pipe down for a while.

A few days ago I went back to the Tinder Box and picked up an ounce of their North Sea, which is supposed to be their most popular blend. They describe it, "A cool smoking mixture of Burley, Virginia and Black Cavendish combined with fruits and other flavor essences. Truly a special smoking experience."

I am not having a very special experience with it. I much preferred the McClelland Oriental Cavendish. So far, my wife only likes the smell of the cherry cavendish, which I am absolutely sick of.

So does anybody have some suggestions for additional pipe tobaccos I might try? Something along the lines of the McClelland Oriental Cavendish for my own taste, but that has an aroma my wife might enjoy?

  The McClelland Oriental Cavendish is described as, "An unusual mixture containing no Latakia, but still has a rich, round flavor. Liberal quantities of Orientals and a special Virginia Cavendish combine with Black Cavendish to make this a tobacco which should satisfy a great many smokers." I was told that it was an English blend, and I really enjoyed it.
  
  I haven't been impressed much with the North Sea, which I guess is a mixture of Burley and Virginian. I'm not opposed to aromatic tobacco, although it seems to taint the natural flavor of the tobacco and often tastes too sweet, which can be sickening after a while.
  
  I'm hoping to find something that tastes good, but will still be pleasant to those around me.

  I only pipe-smoked tobacco once, It was Honey Flavored Egyptian Tobacky. It was cool and sweet.

  I'm more of a seasonal pipe smoker .
  
  Mostly during hunting /ice fishing season but will lite up some during fishing season .
  
  This may sound like a strange question buy do you smoke or should I say what you smoke do you smoke that to please yourself or do you have to please others ? Wife " Get that stink weed out of my house !!!"
  
  If you fall into the later there is a nice blend that has good flavor and most people find the aroma pleasing . I'm going to pick some up before my trip to Italy in a few weeks and would be glad to send you some . I get it at Barclay and it's called Nickoli .
