Question for the EMTs around here...
My girlfriend recently passed her EMT basic exam. She was able to check her score online but hasn't received the actual cards in the mail. She is wondering if the state certification card will arrive in the mail along with the national card or in a different packet?

I'm only State Certified. I have another class to take if I want the Nat'l cert.0 -
I assume you are talking about her National Registry EMT, right? Normally, what National Redistry will do is this: After they post the scores, they send you a National Registry Card. Then they send documentation to your state's EMS office stating that you have passed. Provided she has already sent her state application in, the state office will then mail her state certification/license card to her. Best I remember, there was about a two week time difference in receiving the National Registry card and the state card. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions!! 0 -
