Sam Adams
Ok a few years ago I was learning to drink beer, forcing myself to aquire a taste for it, now I know that sounds strange but I had seen first hand what excessive alcohol abuse did to my family and the drink of choice was beer so I had no taste for it. anyway, i tried alot of beers of various makes including Sam Adams. I didnt like it at all, years later now that my "palate" has developed, I tried SA again, WOW! what a beer! the first was Boston Lager, then Scotch Ale, tonight it is Boston Lager, all have been great. I was once an import snob but now I will drink SA alot. wish I had tried it again sooner. [:p]

Man, I have had a few brews tonite. It's been a looooong week.
You guys kicking back with a few cold ones?
oh, Night_Stalker, I found a page with the complete 15-6 investigation of the iraqi abuse probe online. Let me know if you have it already or if you want it. I would have posted the results on here but it is pretty in depth.

It is not a bad beer, a bit too malty for my taste but the bite from the hops makes it a good beer to wash down a meal with. If you like SA try Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. 0 -
I got a SA Black LAGER right now but my 2 favorites is the HONEY PORTER and SCOTCH ALE. Try almost every belguim beer you can you'll love 9 out of 10. French beer is like american crap, Buttwieser, Crapper lite, Natural piss, etc. Don't fall for that german beer is the best BS, unless you go to germany. There are a few good german beers here though, Warstiener and frazinskaner(SP). TRY home brew too, different but rewarding. PEACE! 0 -
If you like Sams then try Killians Red 0 -
Sierra Nevada? Killians? no, no ,no. Try a Sprecher, its much better than the other two. If you can handle an IPA try MoJo. Now that is a true, so good you don't want to swallow beer.
Sams Cherry wheat is pretty good. Watch the double bock it'll rock ya, winter lager is real good, octoberfest is outstanding, oh I could go on and on.0 -

Sam Adams Scotch Ale is a favorite of mine. JWolf, I recommend you find some nut brown ales and American brown ales to try. A lot of microbrewers make brown ales. 0 -
I haven't seen any in ages but Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve is one of the best beers going.
I drank a few cases of it while on leave in Okinawa.0 -
My personal favorite is the tried and true BUDWEISER. However, I really want to try some Sam Adams but I am not going to pay $$$ for a six pack to not like it. However, there is a Liquor store in my hometown that is HUGE and you can mix/match a six pack but each bottle is like $3 or so and that is $20 for a six pack just to try it and possibly not like it. Therefore, I stick with good ol' BUD. 0 -
Killians, Stroh's, MGD.

You drink a glass full of straight bourbon or you drink a glass full of straight beer. Which one is going to really get the job done? It's all about efficency. 0
