Years back when our local ethanol plant cranked up all they talked about was how it was going to be such a great thing for the farmers because they would have a market for all their "waste" crops. That ship sank so fast they couldn't even get the lifeboats off. They found (the plant)the ONLY crop they economically produce into alcohol was corn. Even using sugar beets ( better than corn according to some research) was not efficient or cost effective. 0
