Yes, they're legal in Washington. I bought some nice ones from Boston Leather.

Illegal in the K.C. area for carry purposes. I believe you can own them though. Liberal politicians are scared that if lawful, peaceful citizens are allowed to carry such weapons, then those citizens will be likely to go crazy and go on a rampage of beating people with their slapjack/blackjacks.

Course, the violent criminals planning on beating some innocent person can carry whatever they please. Just not the lawful, peaceful citizens.

Not sure, but I don't think they're legal here in Texas.

Not legal in Texas. Cops can carry them, but no one does anymore. If you hit someone with a sap, you are going to have to take him to get sewn up.

Saps don't beat people, people beat people. Seems more reasonable to, rather than outlawing saps, outlaw people beating people with saps.

No, wait. That has already been done and still the liberal nannies aren't satisfied. They keep on layering more and more laws, upon the backs of the already lawful, hoping that somehow, someway the liberals will finally find the just right magic words that finally the violent criminals will pay attention to and thereby start obeying the law.

Even if they are legal in your area, do you really want to get that close if you don't need to cuff them?
