Okay, it wasn't too long ago that I said that I probably wouldn't buy a gun here on GB because ...blah...blah...blah...blah
Well, I admit that I was probably mouthing off in haste because I can't find the gun I want anyplace else but here on GB. Mea culpa, mea culpa......

Can someone please explain to me how I would proceed to buy a gun from a seller AND get delivery? I understand the FFL, etc. but WHAT exactly must I do, step-by-step to use the "Buy It Now" option? The money order for the B-I-N, the S&H and the insurance is simple. But what do I do next? There are several gun stores in my area and have already purchased from each of them.

Nothing to it.
One of the first things you should do when considering buying online, is to line up your receiving FFL. Find out if you can get a copy of his FFL to send to the seller. (most won't give you a problem with this, some will, you can FAX FFL`s, and other laws are applicable) There is a list on GB, if you can't find, or don't know an FFL that will help. Shop around, prices vary. Find out if the FFL will accept a firearm from someone that is NOT an FFL. Just in case the seller is not an FFL, and wants to ship it themselves. That problem comes up a LOT.
Then, are you registered on the auction side? It's different than the forums.
If not, go register, if so then log in, go to the auction and hit the buy it now button. AFTER checking their feedback, payment options, etc. Make sure their terms are OK with you.
You will receive an email from GB about winning the auction, the sellers email address will be in that email. The seller gets one too. It's always a toss-up on which one emails the other first. As a buyer, I'm usually the first to email. Since you are using the BIN option, he may not be at the computer when the auction closes.
Once you win the auction, you and the seller will exchange emails. He will tell you where to send the payment and the FFL. Then is the hard part. You wait. A good seller will keep in contact with you, to let you know when payment and FFL have arrived, and when he ships the firearm. Your FFL receives it, lets you know it`s in, and you go pick it up. (after the background check) I don't think they have a waiting period in your state, do they?
