wal-mart.com Fooey!
I was seeking a California king size comforter. Some of you advised me to look here and there, in stores, and I did, with no good results.
So, I went to wal-mart.com to order. Found an acceptable one. Dawnie liked it, so I filled out the online order page.
Credit card would not work. I input the 3-digit security code, and the form kept rejecting it and asking for it again. So, I tried my debit card, same results.
Finally, I had to call the 800 number and talk to a live human who processed the order.
Why have a .com order page when it won't let a customer order anything?

Happens a lot, but I'd rather have it happen that way than have what happened to me.
Bought a monitor from Amazon for $299.00, keyed the order in and paid it by credit card. Then, I get an email from the Amazon seller stating that the monitor was mis advertised, and it should have been $399.00 which was higher than it was from Dell. I asked them to refund my money and they couldn't get Amazon's system to give me a refund. Finally, after 2 days I got a notice that it had been refunded. I called my credit card company to see if it had been refunded and it took 2 weeks before the refund showed up! Meantime, my statement came and I had to pay the $299.00 or pay interest on it; I chose to pay the interest and pay the $299.00 the next month after the credit was processed.
I won't use Amazon again, unless I'm buying directly from them and not an Amazon seller.0 -

Same thing happened to me adding changing credit card at Gunbroker.
Would not recognize 3 digit sec code but sure did deduct the $1. Twice!!!!!!!0 -

Same....finally I ended up getting the card reissued with a new number, and that seemed to work *crosses fingers*0 -

You could have avoided paying the interest on that $299 simply by placing the initial charge into dispute. When you dispute a charge, the CC company cannot demand payment of either the principle of the interest until the dispute has been adjudicated.0 -
If I had known it was going to take as long as it did to get the refund I would have. Big company like Amazon, I thought it would take a couple of days... 0 -
