Sure seems to be a lot of fine pets lost here lately. Sorry to hear about yours, FrancF. Beautiful animal.

Looks like you took very good care of him. I am shure he was a happy guy and lucky to have you. We have an overweight Purdy here...and I don't know what I will do without her when the time comes.

When I was in college, I had a job cleaning the ceramics lab, and one of the potters told me that a friend of his had used the ashes of a beloved pet to make a glaze for a pot. I still can't decide if it's tacky or touching, though I lean toward the latter. Sorry for your loss; another beautiful dog.

FRANCF, So sorry to read this!! I know the PAIN!! Seems to have happened to much in my life.......especially tough was "Roxie" passing on March 18th, 2007 .......just fell over on the sidewalk in front of the house and found her when returning from church! She had slept in Sarah(Miss GHD'S) room since the night of the infamous shooting of ZEUS(12/20/03) by the crazy neighbor lady. She was loved as much as any doggie could have been and today when I drove by her grave while showing my place to other people I've met here, I teared up and while writing this am teared up now!! These animals are special!! I feel your pain!! Charlie (GHD)

Sorry man, its never easy. I've lost 2 dogs over the years, a Collie and a Golden Retriever, both to old age.

He will live on in all of you who loved him.
