I do not see in his words any threats to the US or even Israel, just a statement of what he thinks will happen as both countries continue on their paths of attacking and/or invading others (Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine).
FWIW, the argument that he said Israel is to vanish from the earth is a deliberate mistranslation. He actually said the Zionist regime would no longer exist; that's sorta like saying the Bush Administration will not exist. But the truth doesn't make the fearful afraid, does it now?
