Get out and Vote!
Even if you don't know who is running or the responsibilities of the office they are running for - you should vote!
Ain't that about the stupidest thing you ever heard? The right to vote carries with it the corresponding responsibility to study the campaign issues and to choose a candidate that reflects your values.
This is a big part of what's wrong with our country. If we could just get people to understand what libertarian values are we could break the 2 party system.
I can't remember ever having a social studies class in school that explained to me how our local government works.

Couldn't agree more. Voter apathy is really bad down here. They are predicting that only 25% of registered voters will vote today. That's just wrong. 0 -
Idiots pulling levers willy-nilly got Klinton elected the first time; morons and socialists pulling levers got him elected the second time.
Illegals are likely to get another one elected here shortly.
If you don't know who to vote for and don't understand the issues; by all means, lock yourself in the house come election day.0 -
The cornerstone of the Democractic party is ignorance. Most teachers are Democrats (especially the history/arts majors). So of course they do not want to teach reality as then people would not vote Democrat! 0 -

could you image what would happen if 80% of non voters went and voted 70% of them not knowing what the heck there voting for or who is who. we all could be in the crapper after that [:(] 0 -
Where I used to live the voter turn out was so bad that they closed down the polling site, I had to vote by absentee ballot. But I fully agree that very few of the people who do vote are aware of the people they are voting for. That is how this country got into this posistion in the first place. 0 -
Voting is a joke, the decision has already been made, Like I have said Hillery will be our next president whether she gets any votes or not. 0
