Gun Crafter Industries .50 GI 1911?

Has anyone heard of this cartride? I see Guncrafter Industries has a 1911 handgun chambered for it. I was looking for some feedback on the cartridge? Thanks in advance!

  Gun Test had a very favorable review of the pistol and cartridge awhile back. I do seem to remember the pistol costing well over $2000, and I think close to $3000. I'm guessing Walmart isn't going to be selling the ammo either.
