A reminder about auction complaints (attn SFC)
Posting rules prohibit complaining in this forum about any auction dealings with other members.

how would I know if the guy selling the grips was a member here? It seems you didn't read my post carefully.... I saw some grips I liked on a members gun... He bought them from ebay... I searched, bought gips like his and got ripped off...
I was warning others of this guys dealing to save them from being ripped off... but hey, who cares right?0 -

It has nothing to do with Gunbroker, or whether the guy ever posted or sold here.
Most bulletin-boards have the exact same rule. It's an anti-libel rule designed to prevent the board from getting pulled into a lawsuit.

As I read the original post it sounded like you said that you bought some grips on an ebay auction from a member here on this forum. That's why it was deleted. If the sale didn't involve a GB member then it's OK to grouse about your ebay experience (but best to still avoid specific names due to the noted libel possibility).
Gripe away about ebay but be sure that you're clear about the parties involved not being GB Forum members.0 -

Experience tells us that once a thread gets nasty it's best to delete the whole thing because any selected replies that are dumped will just cause the poster to come back worse than before. That's the way it is.
All of this has been explained many, many times.
