Question About Tasers

I'm wondering what the laws are on tasers in Oregon and California. My friend cant get a concealed carry permit, so he figured the next best thing was a taser. I'm talking a high end one that shoots out the prongs that stick in the target. I don't know the technical terms. Anyway, can you just pack it? Whats the deal here?

  I can't give you a good answer, but I'm pretty sure that in at least some states, the Taser would be considered a concealed weapon. In CA....well, my guess is...sorry.

  http://www.packing.org has the laws on knives, pepper spray, stun guns, etc. on the same state page as the CCL info.
