When you hold the coin, your supposed to read it if the head is facing UP. Well, some were prined opposite, I have 14 this way.0 -
I think the upside down edge inscription is about a 50/50 proposition from what I've seen. 0 -

Matwar, in following up with what Jacob said, look at the coin with the Washington face up. The date, motto etc. on the rim should be inscribed so you can read it. If it is "upside down" then the date, motto etc is readable when the Lady Liberty is face up...0
