Went looking for a CCW revolver
I have been looking for a stainless S&W with a 3" barrel. I made the rounds of the local gun and pawn shops. I wanted a model 65, 64, 60, 10 or something along those lines. I ended up finding another blued revolver that will be to big to carry and will rust. I needed this like I needed another @%$. But ain't it pretty? A model 19-2, 4" barrel, with diamond grips, made in 1966. $338.00 + tax. Just a little holster wear and light turn line.

I'm just about ready to turn this one into my carry gun. It won't be easy, but it should get the job done.[:D]Model 57, .41 mag.

Nice revolver.
I always like seeing your Revolving Revolver pic that you post once in a while[8D][^]0 -
You must be one huge SOB to be able to carry a 6 inch N frame concealed !!
I think the Model 19 may be the absolute pinnacle of the art of revolver manufacturing - and by a huge margin.
Congrats !

Yes, he is a big guy. A big guy with a bigger heart.
If I knowed you were looking, I'd had made you a nice deal for a 10-5 that gets no use. Maybe a trade for a decent .22LR plinking rifle.0 -

What kind of shape is that 10-5 in?
Are you looking to get rid of it?0 -
The 3"ers are a little harder to locate. There are some listed on GB in Model 66's. I carry a 65 3". 0 -
Love those K Frames...The 19/66 are my favorites. 0
