AR15 Magazines
What would a good brand of magazine be for the AR rifle?
I am planning an AR purchase in the near future and would like to stock up on a few magazines while I decide on which rifle to purchase.
Thank you all in advance for your help.

Magpul, get them here: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/AR_15_M16_Magazines.html
I haven't found better prices. I've been using Colt, LanCay and C without any problems, got all mine in a surplus store, just had to pick out the ones with stronger springs.0 -

Yes, scrollwork, like that or the ones with a window. I don't have any windowed ones, but getting at least a dozen next month or so. 0 -
Any of these are great choices too http://www.44mag.com/products.asp?dept=1326 . I have not tried the Magpul's yet but the window ones look very cool.
Someone said that Tapco had theirs on sale for $9 right now. They are made by a USGI contractor and have Tapco floor plates on them.0 -
Much of the quality of the magazine is in the spring. Check out the Wolff Springs replacement springs for your magazines as backups for when your springs go bad. Once you install them you'll never go back. They'll last you a heck of a lot longer than your factory springs. I replaced all my crap springs in Iraq with the Wolff springs. 0
