how long can a bill be extended?

scroll down 3/4 and look how many times this p.o.s. bill has been extended, it appears that they are going to continue till it passes, i'm not sure how it works, that's why i'm asking

  It will stay there till they can get it passed...If not, it will be back in another form shortly there after.
