    I hate Christmas song.
I despise grade school progams. boring part of my youth.

A local Christian radio station goes 100% Christmas music after Thanksgiving. I removed that station from my trucks presets for the season.

I dread putting up the tree. The lights on the tree are maddening. They make me WANT to get drunk. It took us a week to get the tree up. I hate it.

    Merry Christmas.

Totally not into the season this year, but I did go pee in the stall next to Santa on Sunday, I asked him for a Beretta PX-4 while we were washing our hands.

If you are referring to the spirit of frantically calculating what you have to spend to buy stuff most folks don't need, dealing with obnoxious relatives, listening to horrible music, etc.; then the answer is no. It's all about marketing.

    AMEN!
Add to that the pressure from the idiots trying to get me into the spirit and I just hate the whole dang thing more each year.

If you're talking about the seasonal 12 hour, 6 days a week shifts and new found hatred for my superiors, yeah, I'm into the spirit of the season.

My goodness, there sure are alot of gripes about spending money, being with relatives ect. Please remember, that Christmas is what you make of it. Nobody say's that you have to spend all that money. My wife and I hardly ever buy any gifts for Christmas anymore. The grandkids will get a small gift and that's it. If you do not want to be with your relatives, then politely tell them you have other plans. There were some years, as our kids were growing up that we didn't have any money for Christmas, but we were able to put on a nice meal and spend time with our kids that day and play. We always chose to ignore the commercialism of Christmas, and try to just go for the fun. Mrs Scrooge hates it only because it's in the winter, but she does like the time off to be with our kids if any can make it home. Remember, it's all what you make of it.
