What did you do today.

I went over to my brother in law's this morning to go cave exploring out in a cave about a mile back on his land.
You have to crawl on your hands and knee's some of the way, and the rest of the way you have to crawl on your belly.
I took a couple good flashlights with me along with a spotlight.
I crawled around a corner and right there in front of me was a pile of poop and a lower jaw bone with teeth still in it that looked like a Raccoon or some small animal.
We crawled as far back as we could and there was a a blockage of mud that we couldn't get past and it would take forever to dig it out of the way.
I told him it was to small for my big butt to get through but if he wanted to try he could. He said no.
So we just looked around us and ended up finding some really well preserved Indian arrow heads. I love exploring caves.
I had a great new years eve day.

    Bought a new Shakespeare salmon rod and reel. Seven footer, should be good for steelehead too. And bought four Rapalas and a spoon, and a bag of chartreuse wiggly worms for fishing walleye through the ice. Then reorganized my tackle box.

    Spent most of the morning watching it snow and playing with my grandaughter. Then spent the afternoon plowing snow. We got about 6 inches last night and this morning. With another 6 - 8 inches forecast for tomorrow night.

    I helped the wife make cookies, then i made a nice "city-ham",with broccoli&cheese, some mashed taters and a cucumber salad for supper.[^]

    Took the son to the doctor. That blew about half the day. [:(] He has a bad case of bronchitis. Totally screwed our plans to go goose hunting tomorrow. Guess I will have to pull him out of school Friday to go. [:D]

    Lets see my back is really starting to kill me.

    Bought a gun safe yesterday, unloaded it today and got it almost to the front door. I will leave it there for now till I clear the room for it haver to move some bookcases. Its safe for no live out in the country you cannot see my front door from the road.

    What killed my back the most was putting in my new flat screen 40" TV Not heavy but kind of hard to fit in the cabinet where I wanted it. Just broke in the new TV watching Full Metal Jacket.

    Now I popped a pain pill and getting ready to sleep. Hop the pain is better tommorow.
