Hurricane season.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Government forecasters say people living along the East and Gulf coasts need to be ready for a busier-than-normal hurricane season. National Weather Service forecasters say they expect 13 to 17 tropical storms, with seven to ten of them becoming hurricanes.
The forecast follows that of two other leading storm experts in anticipating a busy season.
The National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration says the likelihood of above-normal hurricane activity is 75%. Earlier this month, a research associate at Colorado State University and the chief hurricane forecaster for AccuWeather said they also anticipated a more active storm cycle.
June first is the official beginning of hurricane season, and it ends November 30th.

The National Weather Service forecasters said the same thing last year and they had how many??? Oh yeah, it was ZERO!!! 0 -
Last year it changed due to el nino/nina (whichever it is...)
Anyway, as a Florida resident, I say Send 'em On! We need the rain bad, and we'll take it however we can get it.
Heck, I even have a generator now...

How far can a hurricane hurl your generator, once it has leveled your house ??
Sorry, I hope you are unaffected by the bad weather, except for losing the power a couple of times so you cane generate.
