One dead in motorcycle-truck crash on U.S. 127
ANSONIA - A Versailles man was killed Friday morning on U.S. 127 when the motorcycle he was operating and car collided near this Darke County village, the Dayton post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reported.
Louis B. Wimbley Jr., 38, was northbound and attempting to pass a truck when he struck a southbound car head on.
He was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene, troopers said.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. No charges are being filed, troopers said.
