Travis had his first legal drink a LONG time ago. See, in Texas it is legal for a minor to drink in the presence of a parent or adult spouse. He still won't be able to buy a drink legally for another year, but he can drink a beer with me or his mother, no problem. 0 -
Just think, in one more year the government will consider this young man, who is currently carrying a machinegun in defense of his country, capable of buying a pistol.
And a beer...

It's kinda ironic that he's old enough to go to war - putting his life on the line - and defend our country and our freedom but not old enough to drink or purchase alcohol legally.

Is it my imagination, or is this vehicle laden past its design specs?
2nd platoon. Travis is the only one with a cap on. Everyone else has on boonie hats. Note that one soldier is holding a shotgun. I didn't know anyone but police/security units were toting shotguns.
Maybe a good candidate for a "caption this." He looks rather intense, doesn't he? He is in the gunner position, peering into the gun sight.
