What do yall prefer to use when buying/paying for a gun bought on the auction?

  Prefer credit card, faster and easier, but not many offer it. Have had MO's get lost in the mail, never had a CC problem (knock on wood).

  cc is my preference. otherwise its a postal mo mailed with delivery confirmation. i hate getting jerked around.

  I pay with a credit card if they don't have additional charges tacked on for using them. Otherwise I will send a money order.

  Thats what I figured most would prefer. I usually use a MO but this will be my first time giving a stranger my CC over the phone. It makes me a bit nervous I guess[:p].

  Second place is USPS MO's with confirmation recipt.
  
  Try buying $16,800 in Postal money orders.

  First thing they ask for is proof of where the $ came from.
  You have to fill out a Form #$%^ stating the same.
  Had a copy of the bank withdrawal[:p]

  At first I was pretty leary about such transactions, but so far it has

  Credit card, then I have some fraud protection. However I did buy once from a forum member, (another forum), by M.O. I lost sleep that week waiting. All went OK...got a brand new Beretta 85 for $400.[:D]

  I prefer to use the CC method. It's fast. You don't have to wait for the money order to arrive at the seller's mailbox.
  
  Useful tip of the day: If a seller screws you hard and is an azz about it, email Paypal and let them know that he is listing Paypal as the "preferred method of payment" (assuming that it is true--don't lie about it). His account will be suspended by Paypal and he'll scurry around trying to cover his butt with all the auctions he has listed.
