    Nor Cal.

I got married once in Arcata. The woman is gone, but the beauty lives on.

See you when I see you, Mr. Zip.

If you have time Zip, a drive out to Cape Mendocino via Fernbridge and along Motle Rd. should not be missed.

[8D]--Also Zip, just a few miles North of Eureka is a public beach that is open to 4wd (was) for "duneing" and just North of that, off of Hiwy 1 is Patrick Point a BLM campground like tropical cliffs and beach-Beautiful--

On several of our trips up to the Redwoods we stayed in Eureka. We always enjoyed the trip through the Avenue of the Giants. As previously mentioned the old waterfront area is neat and used to have some good eateries.

Zip, while your in Eureka you have to eat at the Samoan Cookhouse, just ask any of the locals they'll give you directions, also, remember to bring a big appetite.

My brother lived there for nine years.

He loved getting high along the coast. Whenever he had an extra fifty bucks, he and a friend would rent a small plane and fly along the coastline and surrounding area.
