Pet da Doe
First time posting a photo so sit tight.
She had been fat and sassy eating at my feeder. I started to whistling at her, letting her know I was around. She got use and knew to seeing me. Just a soft 2 tone whistle.
One morning I wanted to change the oil in my truck and I needed tools in my shed which the feeder is right in the middle. Well she happened to be at the feeder eating. I figure she would run once I got close. So off I went whistling not looking at her. Came back and started changing my oil filter. So Im under the truck and when I slid out she was standing about 20' away bending over looking what is this fool doing....lol.
I want to hand feed her or pet her. One day I had watermelon and walked out to her throwing her some. She would move closer as I made her come get it. Not know how to call a deer closer and never said anything to her....I said in a small low voice "Come here lil deer"....Well she did not like that!! and booked....lol. she hung around till the bucks started rutting.
