I've got a flag that's very special to me that I'd like to pass on to a lucky forum member. It's the flag that I had on the "wall" of my tent while I was in Kuwait.

This giveaway is open to Senior Members and above ONLY, and is subject to my final decision.

I'll draw a winner at the end of the month.


Edit: For those of you who don't know, Senior Member is 4 stars, and Advanced is 5. This is also open to Moderators.

Edit #2: I ask that the winner of this flag put it on display in a shadow box, just because of it's history. I'd hate to see it get destroyed by the elements when it survived a year in the sandbox.


Edit #3: If ONE MORE person who doesn't qualify by the specified terms for this giveaway asks me to include them, this giveaway will be cancelled! You people with 3 or fewer stars (and you know who you are) need to learn how to read before you post. Nothing against anyone personally, it's just irritating me to the point where I shouldn't have to tolerate it any more.

    Also I would suggest you only open it to members that fly a flag on their house or in their yard. I do and always have. I recently got an award from the sons of the confederacy for patriotism for flying the flag (my FIL is a life member).

    Zulu, nice giveaway and put me in. The one you sent me from the sandbox is pretty worn and could use some replacing. I am going to the VFW to drop it off on the 15th of August anyways. Thanks again and we were in Richmond this weekend and all points North. including WI.

    I will gladly make a shadow box and properly display it. I've even got a spot on my wall that has a moveable recessed light to focus on it. And I am with you on the whole paying attention to instructions thing...one of my pet peaves.

    I will pass on this one because I am the proud owner of a flag that came out of Iraq. I don't think some of you younger soldiers know how much something like this means to us old farts. Much better than getting a new gun in a giveaway. Thanks for being so thoughtful and generous.
